Cepal undertakes the servicing of Alpha Bank’s Solar portfolio

Cepal has undertaken the servicing of the “Solar” Non-Performing Loans portfolio, which was transferred from Alpha Bank to Waterwheel Capital Management L.P., through affiliated companies. This is an important development, completing now also the part that concerned Alpha Bank, and further strengthening the portfolio under management of the Company.

The portfolio, with a total gross book value of approximately Euro 0.45 billion, includes claims from Greek Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs). The assignment of its servicing constitutes a pivotal part of the overall structure of the Solar transaction, following the recent completion of the transfer of the corresponding portfolio of Piraeus Bank.
