About us
Cepal was launched in 2016, when it became the first company to be licensed by the Bank of Greece for Loan and Credit Management, in accordance with Law 4354/2015. In December 2020, our momentum was significantly strengthened with the addition of more than 800 new partners from Alpha Bank S.A., which contributed to our presence throughout the country.
Today, we are one of the largest independent loan and credit receivables managers in Southeastern Europe, managing significant portfolios.

Foundation of Cepal Hellas under the name Aktua.
Licensing by the Bank of Greece under Law 4354/2015.
Completion of carve out and assumption of NPEs management of Alpha Bank. Expansion of Cepal’s presence throughout Greece.
Conclusion of a strategic agreement with Resolute Asset Management Group for the creation of RCG
Renewal of the operating license by the Bank of Greece, in accordance with the new Law 5072/2023, with Cepal among the first servicers to adapt to the requirements of the new law.

In addition, we are integrating new technologies to enhance efficiency at all levels, and we are looking at innovative AI solutions to support the operations of our departments, facilitating data-driven strategic decisions.
In this context, 2024 is an important milestone for our digital transition. In particular, the company has already developed the e-cepal digital platform, which facilitates the direct monitoring and management of their obligations – and which is constantly being enriched with additional functionalities. At the same time, we are introducing modern tools that simplify the process of integrating new employees into our team, offering them an upgraded work experience from their first contact with the company.
Finally, the innovative technological solutions we have introduced in the area of human resources evaluation and development enhance transparency and objectivity, contributing to the continuous improvement of our performance.
